Running toilet from worn flapper
Why it happens here
Hard water in The Country leaves mineral deposits on flappers, preventing a tight seal. Over time, the flapper warps and lets water pass, causing the toilet to run constantly. It's the most common problem we see.
Our approach
We replace the flapper with a high-quality Korky or Fluidmaster model, clean the flush valve seat, and adjust the chain. We also check the fill valve to ensure it's not contributing.
